Thursday, August 16th - Final MPR

Yep, summer is coming to an end.  Thursday night will conclude our MPR’s for the summer.  Kara Williams will be hosting this event.  Bring your meal and plan to be here at 6:30.  The night will conclude at 8:00 p.m.  The game for the evening will be “flying enchilada’s”!  If you are curious, come prepared to have fun!!

Sunday, August 19th - Youth Rally: Italy

Sunday evening the youth will be heading south to Italy for there Back To School Youth Rally.  If you are in 6th-12th grade, plan to attend this event.  The bus will leave at 5:10 p.m. And the planned pick up time will be no later than 9:15 p.m.  If you have any questions about transportation, please see Kevin Cooke.

Sunday, August 26th - Teen Prayer Meeting

Sunday evening after services, we will be meeting in the High School Classroom for a time of prayer together.  Following that time, we will be going to Whataburger for supper.  Please bring money for supper.

KFC Korner…

Attention ALL 1st-5th graders and parents!!  Saturday, August 18th will be Open Gym Night at Trevino’s Gymnastic School (1438  S. I35 Lancaster) from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. The cost is $10 per child.  Pizza will be provided, we ask that each family bring a drinks or a dessert.  If you have any questions, please see Thomas or Sarah Breedlove.

Attention All Brown Street Members…

All are invited out to help keep our city beautiful.  Saturday, August 25th there will be a clean up for our section of adopted highway (287/I35E interchange).  We will be meeting at the church building at 8:30 a.m. We will go as a group out and spend a couple of hours picking up trash in the cloverleaf area.  If you have any questions, you can contact Rick Williams or Ronnie Rushing.  Thanks for your help!!
