Multi-Purpose Room: MPR was a huge success this past Thursday. We had 24 young people show up. We appreciate the participation and look forward to the next one on Thursday, July 14th. Look for more info (clue: something with water).
ICCC Campers: We leave for camp Sunday morning, July 3rd. Be at the building to load the bus at 8:00 AM. Bring a sack lunch and a drink with a screw-on top. We will find a place to worship and eat lunch on the way to camp. Campers will return to the building on Friday, July 8th at approximately 6:30 PM. Parents should expect a phone call one hour out from Waxahachie.
Summer Youth Series: Due to camp participation, there will not be a bus going to SYS on Tuesday, July 5th.
Connection Opportunities: Join us on Facebook Wall at “2471 Youth.” Go to the youth page on www.cocbrownstreet.org for weekly e-mails. Have you filled out your youth member/KFC profile? We have it on line.
Thoughts for the Week: Special thanks to Harry Walden and Kevin Cooke for being our drivers for SYS and ICCC camp. Please pray for a safe journey to and from camp. There will be 47 campers and 5 adults attending camp. Pray that our youth will learn to stand “In Christ Alone.” (camp theme)
Final Thought: “We make a living by what we get--we make a life by what we give.” Acts 20:35 states it is more blessed to give than to receive.

Thoughts for the Week: We know the youth that went to Encounter were uplifted and encouraged in their service to God. Thanks to Randall Dyess and Kevin Sanders for being the adult sponsors for the week of Encounter. We appreciate the Peyrot’s opening their home for the youth devo on June 19th.
Final thought: “It is better to take a risk now than always live in fear.”
