Sunday, March 3rd - Youth Devo

We will be meeting over at the home of Paul and Susan O’Rear for our devotional together.  Pick up time will be at 7:45 at the building.  Boys need to bring your favorite 2 liters, and girls need to bring desserts.  I will provide you with more details when I get them.

Youth Group T-Shirts are here!!

They are in!  We have sizes ranging from Youth Medium to XXXL.  The cost for these shirts is $9 a piece.  You just need to come find me and we will take care of you.  The color of the shirt is Cardinal with white lettering.  These will be given on a first come first serve basis.

LTC Hotel Rooms & Registration...

We have reserved 30 rooms for LTC.  Cost is $77 per room.  Cut off for getting a room is Sunday, March 10th.  Registration for LTC is $30 per student.  Make your checks payable to Brown Street church of Christ.  You can give your check/cash to me, or any of our secretaries.

This afternoon, I would like to meet with you in the multi-purpose room about some things that are coming up, including Senior Reception.  Please make plans to be here at the appropriate times for meeting together.

Sunday evening beginning at 5:00, Dean is presenting a class on memory.  This will be the second of two classes.  If you are able to attend please plan to do so.  We will be meeting in the fellowship room.  The class will conclude at 7:00 p.m.

Weekly Update: 02/13/2013

2471 Upcoming Events:

February 15-17 - T3 (Lewisville Church of Christ)

Friday afternoon we will be meeting at the building at 5:15 to load up and head out for Lewisville for the Teach The Truth Commission (T3).  You will need to make sure you eat before you get here.  We will be attending the events all day Saturday and Sunday morning.  We will plan to be back at the building Sunday morning around 11:45.  Make sure your parents are aware of the return time.  Look forward to seeing everyone Friday!!

Devotional Rescheduled…

Due to Mastering The Word happening Feb. 17th and 24th, we will be rescheduling the devotional at the O’Rears house to March 3rd.  I want to encourage any of you young people who would like to learn more, and retain what you learned, to plan on attending this event.  Feb. 17th and 24th, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the fellowship room.

KFC Korner…

The Mommy-Daughter Valentine Tea will be held on Saturday, February 16th at the church building.  All Mommies with daughters up to 2nd grade are invited to attend.  It will begin at 11:30 and will conclude at 1:00 pm.  This is a come and go event.  We would encourage you to wear your finest tea attire (dresses, boas, jewels, crowns and hats).  Mommies and daughters will enjoy a light lunch followed by crafts.  All Mommies and daughters need to RSVP to the church office at 972-937-8855 or johnhollyreagan@earthlink.net.
