2471 Parent Meeting

Sunday, June 2nd, Parents of our 6-12 grade students will have a meeting at 4:00 pm in the fellowship room.  Please make plans to be here as we look at our summer.

2471 Devotional

6-12th grade is invited out to the Dyess’ house for a  devotional together.  Come welcome our new 6th graders to the youth group!!

 

Inner Circle Christian Youth Camp:  June 16th - 21st

At this current writing, we have 49 kids attending camp this year.  We are still accepting applications for camp if your child would like to attend.  Cost is $190.  Please see Rick if you need a camp application.

Rodeo Round-up…

Sunday is the final day to pay for the family outing to the Mesquite rodeo.  The cost is $12 per person.    Please make checks payable to Brown Street church of Christ.  Tickets will only be ordered for those who have paid.

Please save the date for July 3rd for our first annual Red, White and Bluegrass!  Come and enjoy food, fun, fellowship and fireworks!

We are looking for the most creative AND the most delicious homemade ice cream.  1st place winners will receive the prestigious Golden Scoop award!

Summer Youth Series T-Shirts

Just a reminder that this coming Sunday is the final day to order your SYS t-shirts.   Cost is $10 for standard sizes, XXL is $12 and XXXL is $13.  You can get an order form from the Youth & Family board, comment on the 2471 Face book post with name and size(s) and I will fill out your form or call your order in.

Saturday, May 18th - Church Volleyball Tournament

The Northwest church in Fort Worth is organizing a Volleyball Tournament.  Prairie View Middle School will be opening up their doors for this event. There will be four courts available.  We will meet at the building at 8:30 am.  We should be returning around 4:00 pm.

Sunday, May 19th - TPM

Following services Sunday night we will meet in the High School classroom for a time of prayer together.  You will need money for Cici’s!

Camp applications are due Sunday for those who want the $170 fee.  The cost will go up to $190 after Sunday.  Please get your application and fee to Rick Williams.  Also, scholarships are available for those who need one.  If you are in need of more information about that, please contact Rick Williams or Randall Dyess.
