Multi-Purpose Room: Thursday, August 18th will be the next MPR from 6:00 -8:30 PM. Bring your dinner and a guest.
Special Youth Devo: Will be held at the building from 3:30PM-4:30PM on Sunday, August 21st. Let’s have a great turnout as we start the school year.
KFC Parents: We had 16 KFC campers participate in the KFC Camp-in held this past weekend. The kids had a blast!
The meeting scheduled for Sunday, August 21st for the parents of KFC kids has been cancelled. Check the youth page on www.cocbrownstreet.org and the church foyer for calendar of events through the month of October.
Family Work Day: We would like to encourage all families and teens to participate in the Foster’s Home work day scheduled for Saturday, August 27th.
Family Game Night: Sunday, August 28th following the evening service, will be the next FGN. It will be a pot-luck dinner. Please bring enough to feed a family.
Back to School Bash: On Sunday, September 4th, after the morning worship, we will be going to Amazing Jake’s in Plano. Sign-up in the classrooms or in the foyer. Cost is $25 per person which includes food and attractions.
Final Thought: Dream big. There is little power in little plans. It is not the size of a man, but the size of his heart that matters. Proverbs 27:19 states as water reflects a face, so a man’s heart reflects the man.
